She was originally a sport medicine doc, but found herself predominantly using low carb nutrition to manage chronic pain and inflammation. The results were astonishing...and weight loss was a welcome side effect. So, she switched gears and became a weight loss physician.
Having struggled with weight and food addiction issues herself, she loves helping people find their way out of these problems so that they can be free to live the lives they want.
She specializes in low carb/keto/intermittent fasting/carnivore lifestyles for weight management and diabetes reversal.

I became a Family Physician because I love to have deep conversations about all types of health, whether it's physical, mental or spiritual. I choose to focus on obesity and metabolic medicine because I realized it was an area in health care that has never been brought up, let alone taught to medical professions.
My journey led me to not only become board certified in obesity medicine, but to really learn and understand what the majority of my patients are actually dealing with.
I love to learn about my patient’s desires, goals, expectations, and then tailor a plan that’s right for them. My focus is mainly on medical management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and mood disorders, but I also focus on nutrition and lifestyle changes as well.
